Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Suspicious Indicators Training for Chemical Suppliers and Distributors

Sandia National Laboratories (SNL), on behalf of the U.S. Department of State’s Chemical Security Program (CSP), is organizing a Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Suspicious Indicators training for chemical suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors. This two and a half-day training will feature presentations and interactive exercises.

Workshop topics include the following:
• Identifying chemicals of security concern and state-actor threats who seek to acquire them
• Recognizing suspicious indicators that can lead to interrupting illicit procurement requests
• KYC principles, best practices, and implementation strategies
• KYC Suspicious Indicators Evaluation Tool

• All participants will receive a copy of this free-to-use software that helps businesses identify suspicious purchase requests

Intended Audience:
Management from customer service/sales/marketing divisions, due diligence officers, and other relevant supervisors from chemical/pharmaceutical industry manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors. The working language of the event will be English and translation services will not be provided.
